The ICU project explores solutions to border conflicts around the world in order to create greater understanding between people and global unity.

Currently there are many places across the globe where physical and metaphorical "walls” or "fences" exist between conflicting nations. These external walls are actual metaphors for the internal walls of fear that keep us separate and unable to truly "see" one another. In order to create harmony among the societies of our world, we must find creative solutions that enable us to dismantle our own internal walls so that these external walls may altogether disappear.

The ICU's first project uses film, music, art and the Internet as a way of creating alternative solutions to these conflicts and creates a forum for expression, which serves to unite rather than divide. The ICU project includes the film: Without Walls, a Global Soundtrack, the website: I See You, and the exhibit: Peace of the Wall.
